SLFE’s Instrumentation and Control Engineering team provides conceptual and detailed design services, including documents, specifications, drawings, and calculations, together with construction support, for both greenfield and brownfield projects. Our core competencies include the design and integration of control systems such as Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distributed Control System (DCS), Emergency Shutdown System (ESD), Building Management System (BMS), Machinery Protection System (MPS), Burner Management System (BMS), Radar Tank Gauging System (RTG), Vibration Monitoring System (VMS), High Integrity Pressure Protection System (HIPPS), Leak Detection System (LDS), Custody Transfer Metering , field instrumentation, gas analyzers, and other safety-related control systems.

Our instrumentation and control engineering team also actively participate in SIL studies, HAZOP reviews, PRA assessments, and 3D Gas Mapping studies to support hazard identification, risk reduction, and optimized detector coverage.

In addition, the Instrumentation and Control Engineering team provides procurement support for all Control system and field instruments, including the preparation and issuance of Request for Quotation (RFQ), Material List (MTO), and Material Requestion (MR) for materials and services, evaluation of vendor offers to finalize the selection in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
